EMBROIDERY MACHINE OPERATOR

Print My Threads is looking for an experienced Embroidery Machine Operator to join our production team.

An embroidery machine operator sets up, runs, and maintains multi-head automated embroidery equipment to produce decorated apparel on a variety of fabrics and products.

Key duties include:

Read work orders to determine type and location of embroidery Select proper materials, backing, and threads Properly hoop a variety of products and fabrics for embroidery Thread/load the machines, guides, and bobbin Adjust and regulate machine settings and tensions Observe sewing operation to detect defects in stitching that indicate machine malfunction and correct any problems encountered Selects proper materials, backing, needles, thread, and thread color Troubleshoot machine malfunctions, perform quality control checks, and ensure finished products meet specifications and quality standards Maintain a clean work area and perform regular equipment maintenance
You will be expected to learn other aspects of our production process to help with tasks such as:

Pressing heat transfers Catching and inspecting shirts coming off the dryer Counting, boxing, and preparing shirts for shipment Folding, bagging, and sorting shirts for order fulfillment Receiving inventory and staging shirts for printing Keeping the production area clean and organized

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time = 35 - 40 hours per week Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM

BASIC SKILLS REQUIRED

Ability to self-manage Willingness to learn Desire to work Exceptional attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time Basic computer skills and comfortable using technology

WAGE

Pay range = $35,000 - $45,000 Initial wage determined by experience and performance during the training period.

PTO is earned at 0.05 hrs per 1 hour worked 40 hours worked = 2 hours of PTO, or approx. 8 hours/month

80 hours annually of paid time off to be used for doctor's appointments, illness, etc (prorated based on hire date)

Base Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
