ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Email Marketing Strategist and Subject Matter Expert to join our dynamic digital team at Jackson Spalding. In this role, you will take charge of developing and executing strategic email campaigns, leveraging your expertise to drive engagement, conversions, and brand loyalty for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of email marketing best practices, industry trends, and possess extensive experience in optimizing email marketing performance. This job is a hybrid role, 3 days in and 2 days remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement comprehensive email marketing strategies that align with client goals, resulting in increased brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
• Serve as the agency\'s email marketing expert, providing guidance and best practice recommendations to internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with copywriters, designers, digital strategists, and account teams to create impactful email content, compelling subject lines, and visually appealing templates.
• Manage all aspects of email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, scheduling, testing, deployment, and performance tracking.
• Continuously analyze campaign metrics, utilizing A/B testing and data-driven insights to optimize key performance indicators, such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure our email campaigns remain competitive and effective.
• Maintain email deliverability rates, reputation, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular reports and performance analysis to clients and internal stakeholders, outlining campaign results, recommendations, and next steps.
• Act as an innovator that finds new opportunities and solves complex problems with new approaches.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven track record of 8+ years in email marketing, preferably in an agency or marketing environment.
• Extensive knowledge of email marketing best practices, deliverability, and industry trends.
• Proficiency in utilizing email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Marketo) and marketing automation tools.
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS coding for email template customization is a strong plus.
• Extensive use of marketing data platforms and analytics to, generate actionable insights, and optimize email campaigns for maximum effectiveness
• Experience as a key client contact, able to create productive engagements with clients, move clients to decisions, and explain complex scenarios in clear ways.
• This role may require intermittent travel.
