is looking for another Drum Instructor to teach one to two days per week to start. Formal education is preferred but other experience is also considered. The position is well suited for musicians who can be available during weekday afternoon to evening hours and weekend daytime hours. Must have a fun attitude and personality and the ability to work well with kids of all ages and adults. Teaching all genres. Ability to help with NYSSMA is a plus but not required.
We have a super fun and engaging school with students of all ages, skill levels, and genre interests. We do showcases for students to perform, we have optional band programs, vocal groups, and songwriting workshops to keep kids and adults engaged. Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging drum lessons tailored to students' skill levels and interests.
Foster a positive learning environment for students be engaged and have fun.
Provide individualized feedback to enhance students' drumming abilities.
Communicate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
Continuously assess and adapt curriculum to meet the evolving needs of students.
