We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Driller to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly in drilling applications. This role involves working on construction sites, operating various machinery, and ensuring that drilling operations are conducted safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will demonstrate mechanical knowledge and a strong understanding of pipeline installation and horizontal drilling techniques.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy drilling equipment, including excavators, water trucks, and forklifts, to perform drilling tasks.
Conduct horizontal drilling operations while adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient pipeline installation and maintenance.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to minimize risks associated with drilling operations.
Assist in the training of new team members on equipment operation and safety practices.
Requirements
Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators and Caterpillar machinery.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to drilling operations and equipment maintenance.
Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques and pipeline installation processes.
Previous construction site experience is preferred.
Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus for operating tanker trucks as needed.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to construction and drilling activities.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining high safety standards.
