Dog Daycare Attendant/ Grooming Assistant
Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and providing exceptional care to furry friends in a daycare setting. Duties - Supervise and interact with dogs in a daycare environment - Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs under your care - Assist with feeding and cleaning up after dogs - Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to maintain a safe environment - Engage in playtime and activities with the dogs - Maintain cleanliness and organization within the daycare and grooming facility Skills - Experience in animal care or handling is preferred - Ability to perform heavy lifting when needed - Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus - Familiarity with kennel operations is beneficial - Customer service skills for interacting with pet owners - Background as a veterinary technician, veterinary assistant, or pet groomer is advantageous
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
