You Will Be Responsible For:
Looking for a finance and accounting leader who will be responsible for managing the entire process of technical accounting and financial consolidation related to the acquisition of businesses. This position will own the entire process from accounting due diligence phase through the integration phase, including coordination of internal and external accounting and valuation specialists, financial reporting and analysis, and governance and control related activities post close. Partnering with operations and other departments during the planning.

Collaborate with legal, operations, etc on due diligence related to potential acquisitions or organic business growth.

Accounting research for all significant transactions and new lines of business added by the Company. Responsible for preparation of opening balance sheets, purchase accounting, investment accounting and unique transactions post-closing.

Participate and assist with the quarterly analysis and internal reporting to help with operational, financial and board packages that are prepared and shared quarterly.

Determine relevant disclosure reporting for the lines of business the Company operates in

Keep abreast and analyze impact of financial reporting developments and new accounting pronouncements/requirements

Assess the design of internal controls related to our financial reporting processes, test the controls for operating effectiveness, and assess SOC-1 reports pursuant to our annual Sarbanes-Oxley 404 certification

Work with various departments to update narratives and identify process improvement opportunities

Assist with ad-hoc projects and analyses throughout the year for research and reporting requirements.

Collaborate with internal departments to define financial operating data requirement for all to drive operational results. Implement processes and create tools to gather, analyze and disseminate financial operating data.

Provide strong finance and accounting leadership within the organization.

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting or Finance required

10+ years minimum of blended public and private accounting experience

Knowledge of GAAP financial statements and financial reporting

CPA is required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Superior time management / organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency

Understanding of internal controls (SOX requirements)

Investment Accounting, Inventory Accounting and experience in equity a plus

Additional Information

Salary: $140,000 - $190,000; may be eligible for bonus
