The salary range for this position will be $165K to $185K DOE. Duties of the Public Relations (Director):

  • Analyze Local Bounti\'s corporate objectives to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion while promoting the company, the Local Bounti Brand and its products.
  • Write press releases and prepare information for the media to promote the Local Bounti brand both within the business and consumer sectors in order to gain organic media coverage.
  • Respond to requests for information from the media.
  • Organize promotional events such as press tours.
  • Establish and maintains cooperative relationships with consumers, community members, employees and public interest groups.
  • Lead Local Bounti\'s crisis management SOP including crisis planning, performing vulnerability assessments, conducting simulation exercises and communications response.
  • Plan and direct the development of programs to maintain favorable public and stakeholder views of the Local Bounti organization.
  • Draft speeches and coordinates interview schedules for SMT leadership and other appropriate LB team members.
  • Develop and implements Local Bounti\'s publicity strategies for company events (consumer and trade facing).
  • Identify, draft, and submit all of Local Bounti\'s award submissions.

  • Sound understanding of how to craft a media strategy for a publicly traded company
  • Attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of Investor Relations
  • Global agency experience a plus
  • Experience in crisis management
  • Experience promoting publicly traded companies preferred
  • BA in public relations, journalism, communications or marketing related field preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in communications and PR
  • Confidence when working with C-suite; ability to build strong relationships of trust
  • Must have experience and a proven track record of success directing or managing agency relationships
