The Director of Operations is responsible for developing and leading high-caliber teams to execute projects, deliver products and conduct field services. He/she ensures operations are completed on-time, under-budget, and to industry-leading quality standards. What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Be Doing:
- Lead, manage, recruit, train and develop teams of high-quality performers.
- Develop and maintain business processes for the fulfilment side of the business.
- Implement cost-control and quality measures for the fulfilment side of the business.
- Lead and manage the projects group to ensure schedule, cost and quality standards are met.
- Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards to ensure company-wide supply-chain, production, and installation needs are met.
- Direct vendor and contractor management programs and build synergistic long-term relationships with key external business entities.
- Build a high-caliber installation program and team.
- Set and achieve targets for manufacturing and installation costs, productivity, utilization and efficiency.
- You have a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Engineering, Business or a related field.
- You have 10+ years of experience in a management role coupled with 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and at least 2 years of experience in the construction/installation industry.
- You have a strong understanding of the business, and ability to execute management principles, strategic planning, and leadership strategies.
- You have proven leadership skills and ability to build, train, inspire and lead multi-functional teams.
- You role-model exceptional workplace behavior and always hold yourself and others to the highest standards.
- You have strong communication skills, strong attention to detail and are able to prioritize multiple activities.
- Your passion is to build high quality teams of top performers and lead them to success.
