We are partnering with two northeastern West Virginia hospitals seeking an experienced Emergency Department Leader for a non-contract Director of Nursing role to oversee operations of both hospitals. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the leadership and management of two Emergency Departments.
• Plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates the delivery of patient care by empowering staff, coordinating activities between emergency departments and by promoting patient satisfaction.
• Collaborates with medical staff, ancillary/support directors and other personnel in resolving issues, promoting, and planning optimal patient care.
• Maintains performance improvement activities.
• Assures competency of nursing personnel.
• Assists in formulating the budget and maintains efficient and effective departmental operations while in compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations, laws, standards, and protocols.

• BSN required; MSN or MBA is preferred
• Current RN licensed issued by the West Virginia State Board of Registered Nurses
• Five years of nursing experience with at least two years in an emergency medicine management position
• Active certifications \xe2\x80\x93 ACLS, BLS
