Director of Marketing In Office Position, Downtown Austin Walden Media Group, a small and quickly growing digital agency based in Austin, Texas is currently seeking a talented Director of Marketing to join our team. https://www.waldenmediagroup.com/ Walden Media Group is a first of its kind digital agency, offering creative and technology services to clients across all industries. Our CEO has a vision to combine tech, and creative at the root of our clients\' brands to give them unparalleled growth. From web and app development to marketing strategy, paid advertising, design, branding, and social - Walden Media Group offers a complete suite of services to launch and scale any idea or brand. The Director of Marketing will oversee a small team of creatives, from visual designers, paid advertising managers, account managers and social media managers - and report directly to the CEO. As a digital agency, after we launch the tech for a brand such as a website, we offer full service marketing retainers to our clients to help them reach their audience in effective and innovative ways. This is where the Director of Marketing role comes into play! The Director of Marketing will be responsible for collaborating with the CEO to bring strategy and ideas to our clients, as well as facilitating communication between the clients and our agency. Roles & Responsibilities are as follows:

  • Managing Client Communication, holding client meetings to provide updates on internal work
  • Bringing ideas to the table to help reach our client audiences through paid advertising or ongoing creative work
  • Overseeing client budgets and working with our paid advertising manager to effectively manage campaigns
  • Creating Email Campaigns for clients and their initiatives / managing mailing lists
  • Managing Hubspot accounts for clients
  • Managing Project Timelines and Project Management portals for numerous projects - using Trello and Monday, this provides transparency for our clients on our work
  • Working with our Director of Photography to create ideas for video ads or creative work
  • Collaborating with our Visual Designer to facilitate client needs, such as airport, or billboard advertising, print material - or graphics
  • Create long and short form content for press releases, blogs, or email / social content for brands
  • Pitch or present ideas to both CEO (internal) and clients (external)
  • Understanding social media analytics, and google analytics to make informed decisions and recommendations to clients - we have a social media manager for day to day work representing our clients\xe2\x80\x99 brands - your work here is more big picture and client facing
  • Coming up with branding and creative ideas for brands across many industries, from Wagyu Beef, Skin Care, Transportation, Fashion, Food and Drink, Real Estate and More - our agency represents brands in every industry.

  • Understanding of Paid Advertising such as PPC or Social Media - our Paid Ads manager will do all of the execution and fine detail work, but you should understand and have experience working on campaigns so that you can communicate with clients and make the most of these tools
  • Experience creating effective marketing campaigns and showcasing these results to clients
  • Ability to stay positive when representing your work, and our work to clients
  • Experience working in an agency setting a plus
  • General Understanding of web design and development - this role does will not overlap to often with the technologies arm of our company, but the Director of Marketing should understand how all digital aspect of a brand play a part in creating an effective business
  • Experience representing and growing multiple brands
  • Understanding of how creative tools translate to a business and grow revenue and customer acquisition
  • Experience in E Commerce
Currently our in house creative team is 7 people - but we intended to double that in the next 6 months. Our remote team of developers is not in office, but ads another 6 people to our company. Our CEO has a vision to grow this agency to 100 people, and work with some of the best brands in the world. A desire to feel part of something meaningful and make an impact with your work is an important quality for this candidate. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits:
