Founded in 2015, the Food Allergy Institute (FAI) is a cutting-edge research and clinical care center revolutionizing food allergy treatment among the pediatric population. Our Tolerance Induction Program\xe2\x84\xa2 is the first of its kind, bringing patients to the point where they can eat whatever they want, whenever they want, without having to worry about any kind of reaction. The success of FAI is built on years of development involving proprietary biomarkers, data analytics and modeling systems which allow unique patient specific therapy to be deployed in the clinic setting and at home safely.

Who Are We Looking For?
We are currently seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead all aspects of the HR function and build the infrastructure to support future growth and expansion. The incumbent will use an analytical, data driven approach to implement people strategies that will nurture a mission focused culture, build high performing/engaged teams, and attract and retain talent.
This role will coach and develop both the Human Resources team and organizational leaders to create and maintain an environment that will help promote employee engagement. This includes designing and implementing programs that inspire, motivate, and develop our employees.

Responsibilities (may include but not limited to):
  • Build a data-driven human resources organization that will support the company during a phase of
    growth and expansion.
  • Formulate and execute the people strategy, including: recruiting, talent management, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, compensation, benefits, retention, diversity and inclusion, compliance and culture initiatives.
  • Serve as a strategic business partner to the executive leadership team, department heads, and people managers; use data to provide insight, flexible and innovative solutions and best practices to help drive performance, growth and retention.
  • Oversee, grow and develop the HR team.
  • Coach and mentor organizational leaders and employees.
  • Implement HR technology and processes to support a complex and growing workforce.
  • Establish scalable leadership development solutions and develop programs that prepare high-potential employees for their next role.
  • Oversight of payroll and benefits administration.

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge and experience in strategic Human Resources management.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to design and implement people strategies that drive business results.
  • Data-driven with the ability to master complex business problems.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to provide both strategic foresight and feedback.
  • Experience with compensation planning.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who proactively takes ownership to grow the organization.
  • Intellect and pragmatism to be able to effectively handle ambiguity and manage change.
  • Unquestioned integrity and the experience, confidence, and stature to effectively address sensitive HR and business issues.
  • Sensitive to and proactively works toward the cultural diversity and inclusion.
  • Highly ethical individual, strong level of confidentiality with a natural tendency toward discreteness.
  • Strong service orientation with commitment to providing an excellent employee experience.
  • Deep knowledge of legal HR compliance matters.
  • Knowledge of payroll and benefits administration.
  • Experience with HRIS systems; experience with NetSuite and BambooHR are a plus.
  • Proficient in Google Apps and MS Office

Education and Requirements:
  • Minimum BA/BS degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, 3 to 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • HR certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Office environment.
  • Some travel between sites required.
