What you\'ll do...

Director, Brand Collaboration \xe2\x80\x93 Cultural Innovation

Walmart has a vision of putting Walmart into culture and culture into Walmart, requiring teams to work collaboratively across the organization \xe2\x80\x94 bringing together online and offline experiences, marketing, talent, omnichannel merchandising, research and more \xe2\x80\x94 to have impact and drive brand relevancy. This role will help scale the operations of Cultural Engagement, building muscle memory into the Enterprise by working to implement best practices, creating Ways of Working playbooks, and helping teams operate efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that drives positive business and impacts our customers.

The Director, Brand Collaboration \xe2\x80\x93 Cultural Innovation, will drive the vision for how teams across the Enterprise work together to deliver for customers at the forefront of change. Your priority will be developing and implementing cross-functional workstreams \xe2\x80\x94 consumer insights, marketing, merchandising and store/.com operations \xe2\x80\x93 to ensure programs are created, tested, and ultimately scaled. You\xe2\x80\x99ll identify and help solve complex problems across varying and multiple workstreams with inter-connected parts. You\xe2\x80\x99ll focus on high level program management and but will work daily with counterparts towards progress and a simpler, more streamlined way of working together to deliver on programs. This isn\xe2\x80\x99t an \xe2\x80\x9cinternal culture transformation\xe2\x80\x9d role \xe2\x80\x93 rather, you will be building and iterating on playbooks, which will include the customers/audience insights, strategy, people and processes, ongoing improvements and training necessary to hit our goals.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll work closely with the Director of Business & Cultural Strategy on intersectional aspects of DE&I and Culture, report to the Senior Director of Brand Strategy, and will work with a team of merchants, marketers, operators, and more to deliver culture-driving programs and initiatives.

  • You have experience implementing and working on organizational transformation in retail and/or have held with multiple functions in fast-paced, highly complex retail environments.

  • Owning and driving the operations of highly visible strategic initiatives important to C-level leaders at Walmart \xe2\x80\x93 bringing the world of online and offline experiences, merchandising and marketing together to create conversations for the brand and growth for the business.
  • Expertise in bringing levels of merchant and marketing strategy together \xe2\x80\x93 from marketing brand narratives, go-to-market strategies, and campaign briefs to merchandising orders, store lists, visual merchandising, reviews and supplier relations.
  • Building relationships with stakeholders to create cross-functional efforts that deliver for the brand, the business, and the customer.
  • Overseeing and managing the day-to-day process of getting culture-forward programs to run smoothly.
  • The role understands the changing nature of how customers are \xe2\x80\x98buying with their values\xe2\x80\x99 and understands how this applies to the retail business.

The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00-$264,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

- Stock equity incentives

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 4 years\' experience in marketing or related field OR 7 years\'experience in marketing or related field.
1 year\'s supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional projects.
