Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai\'i. The Facilities Management department maintains a safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and employees at Wilcox Medical Center and Kaua\xe2\x80\x98i Medical Clinic facilities. It provides our hospital and clinics with regular maintenance of physical buildings, routine safety inspections and minor repairs to ensure that our infrastructure operates at its best. Staff perform skilled work in the repair, replacement and refinishing of equipment and systems such as electrical services, HVAC services, plumbing services, power plant operation and general maintenance of buildings and grounds with goal of providing an aesthetically pleasant, functional and safe operating environment.
