Job Description


As a member of the BOTOX\xc2\xae Cosmetic Professional Marketing team, the Director of Professional Marketing, responsible for Professional Marketing Strategy, Initiatives, and Neurotoxin Competitive Strategy. The Director will develop differentiated professional marketing strategies and tactics, develop detailed and robust implementation plans designed to meet or exceed financial targets and key brand metrics, and lead their overall implementation. Additionally, the Director will be responsible for developing detailed competitive strategies with robust implementation plans for existing and new Neurotoxin indications and products in development that are expected to enter the US Medical Aesthetics Market. Critical to the role will be exceptional leadership skills and proven marketing skills in HCP channels. This role must have demonstrated marketing and commercial acumen, experience in consumer or HCP channels, and demonstrated skillset in leading projects with the ability to anticipate and pivot quickly as driven by the needs of the business. Strong collaborative skills are required, as the role will work across numerous internal and external partners and key stakeholders. Key partners include sales leadership, consumer marketing, medical affairs, Allergan Medical Institute, Strategic Communications, professional relations, finance, Sales Training and Operations. Additionally, strong analytical and presentation skills are necessary. The ideal candidate will have a solid track-record demonstrating strong business acumen, where s/he has successfully taken ideas from inception to completion.

  • Develop HCP marketing programs and collaborate with cross functional team members to ensure consistency and flawless launch execution across all relevant channels
  • Develop anual brand planning for respective professional marketing initiatives, including business objectives, strategies and translation of strategies to marketing programs and campaigns
  • Lead the implementation of marketing programs from concept to execution, driving collaboration among internal and external partners
  • Lead the overall strategy development and execution of competitive response plans, refining as needed, with a communication plan for the response plan that communicates the overall status of the response plan, progress against outlined risks / mitigations, and enables teams to deliver on their responsibilities as a part of the response plan
  • Ensure enterprise is executing against the outlined Professional marketing strategy, identifying execution risks (recognized and unrecognized) and gaps to achieving strategy and meeting financial targets proactively outlined and mitigated
  • Develop effective working relationships with Regulatory, Legal, Medical and Compliance counterparts to ensure all creative meet requirements
  • Participate in market research and integrate insights into tactical execution
  • Oversee the development and management of promotional programs and tools: Lead the team to develop promotional tactics and sales tools that support brand strategies
  • Lead in the development of annual brand planning for respective strategies and tactics, including business objectives, strategies and translation of strategies to marketing programs and campaigns to measurable outcomes
