Job Summary:

At Holmes Lake Rehabilitation & Care Center, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dining Services Director to lead our dining team in providing exceptional culinary experiences for our residents. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our dining services, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality meals and exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement menus that are appealing and nutritious for our residents Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure exceptional quality and presentation Manage and supervise a team of dietary aides and cooks to ensure efficient and effective food service operation Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including those related to food safety and sanitation Develop and maintain quality control procedures for food service operations Collaborate with the facility's care team to ensure that residents' dietary needs are met Develop and manage the food service budget, ensuring expenses are within approved limits Maintain accurate records and reports of food service operations, including inventory and equipment maintenance

Requirements:

At least one year of experience in a food service management role, preferably in a skilled nursing facility setting Knowledge of food service operations and regulations Ability to lead and motivate a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in nutrition, food service management, or a related field preferred
