Position Summary:

The Digital UI/UX Designer collaborates with product design and agile development teams to integrate principles of usability or user centered design into the product development process. This role is responsible for assisting the internal UX design, focusing on customer research, usability testing and analysis, information architecture, concepts and prototyping, low and high fidelity designs, and content strategy. Responsibilities:

• Utilize various tools to initiate, script, conduct and analyze usability studies and testing to gain insight into user behavior.
• Deliver detailed experiences including wireframes, users flows, UI specifications, mockups, clickable prototypes, research, usability analysis and interaction design from concept through delivery.
• Analyze user interfaces and workflows. Suggest UI / UX improvements for existing and future products.
• Report usability testing findings and provide recommendations to UX, member experience, and development teams.
• Create rapid prototypes to validate design concepts.
• Strongly advocate for the digital customer experience. Create and communicate compelling digital experience vision and strategies.
• Work across departments to clarify and define user stories as they apply to the user interface.
• Contribute to the development of a digital/UX style guide. Foster consistency across multiple products and channels and to ensure best practice and overall design excellence.
• Clearly communicate design decisions and keep track of all projects and documentation.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• At least 2 years of experience in user experience design, information architecture, visual/graphic design, or web design and usability research.
• Strong portfolio or website featuring examples of UI / UX design work.
• Clear understanding of digital trends and technology landscape.
• Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in building interactive prototypes.
• Experience working in an Agile environment such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong command of problem solving and negotiating skills to resolve challenging issues.
• Proven ability to work in a project oriented environment with quick and aggressive deadlines.
• Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and be the voice of the customer across multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentations skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
