Job Description


We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing company. You will be in a highly visible position and report to the Head of Product Marketing. Along with internal support teams, you will be responsible for the management and execution of UrVenue\xe2\x80\x99s digital marketing efforts including asset and content creation aligned with the organization\'s brand, promotional planning, digital campaign management, and performance analytics. You will be familiar with all digital channels and will focus on email marketing and marketing automation (upper and lower funnel strategies), social media, website management, SEO, and paid digital advertising. You will own and manage our primary digital platforms - Hubspot Sales & Marketing, MailChimp, Hootsuite, Canva, and Adobe. You will interface with and support multiple internal teams, including Account Management and Sales, Product, Creative, and SEO, and external partners, including our PR and content marketing teams. You must feel comfortable both giving direction and executing on your own.

AREAS OF FOCUS Social Media Marketing/Advertising
  • Create and manage engaging social media content across various social media channels to showcase our company and its culture. This includes LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
  • Create targeted B2B paid digital campaigns on LinkedIn to drive engagement and interest in the hospitality industry.
  • Implement and manage organization\xe2\x80\x99s main social media management platform (Hootsuite) for easy creation, management, distribution and performance reporting for social media activities.



Website
  • Project manage website updates and redesigns to showcase newly released products and features. This includes interacting with web development, SEO and content teams.
  • Report out website performance.
  • Work with internal SEO resources to ensure SEO best practices are in place and being adhered to.



CRM / Email Marketing:
  • Manage Hubspot Marketing CRM system to identify target audiences and grow email databases.
  • Design emails and execute direct email marketing campaigns.
  • Create, categorize and manage email databases.
  • Integration of best email practices that drive engagement and minimize unsubscribes.



Sales Support and Enablement:
  • Assist in managing the set-up of Hubspot Marketing Hub and leverage best practices between Hubspot\xe2\x80\x99s sales and marketing ecosystems including the introduction of marketing automation.
  • Create and manage digital assets for sales support.
  • Assist with the creation of automated messages/templates in the CRM system on behalf of UrVenue or the Sales Executives.
  • Build and communicate key performance metrics to the internal teams.



Administration & Ad Hoc Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a master content marketing calendar in support of social media promotion, email campaigns, monthly/quarterly newsletters, blog content, public relations and other ad hoc marketing activities.
  • Media/PR coordination for announcements, product launches, and newsworthy content.
  • Event/Exhibition management and coordination.



QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in business, hospitality management, or marketing preferred.
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience in digital marketing required preferably in the hospitality industry or B2B hospitality space.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation, sales, CRM, website management and social media platforms required. We are a Hubspot and Mailchimp organization therefore experience with these applications is highly preferred.
  • Digital advertising (LinkedIn most important) and Google Analytics experience are a plus
  • Experience with PandaDocs is a plus.
  • Excellent coordination and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and copywriting skills
  • Ability to curate content with creative ideas under tight deadlines
  • A master of time management driven by outstanding organizational skills.
  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google \xe2\x80\x93 Gmail, Drive, and Docs.
