Job Description


The ERM Administrator will assist the Senior Department Administrator of Enterprise Risk Services in supporting the operations of the entire Enterprise Risk Services Department. Under the guidance and direction of the Senior Administrator, the ERM Administrator leads efforts to manage, implement, and enhance the ERM software solutions, develop comprehensive risk reports and dashboards in standardized software and provides oversight and day to day management of the ERM software and processes. This position will help collaborate across Tulane University to ensure core objectives of the ERM program as established by the Associate VP of Enterprise Risk Services are effectively accomplished. The ERM Administrator provides support and project management to ERS Department initiatives which many include serving on committees, scheduling/coordinating meetings, trainings or other duties as assigned. Under supervision of the Senior Administrator, prepares documents, presentations, and spreadsheets and assists with obtaining information from offices or departments across the university. As required, this role will provide secondary support for administrative tasks such as scheduling, coordination, record keeping, making departmental purchases, assisting with budgets, and other office support duties.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

\xc2\xb7 Advanced skills in Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Pivot Tables/Charts, PowerPoint)

\xc2\xb7 Experience with data analytics software

\xc2\xb7 Strong problem solving and organizational skills

\xc2\xb7 Highly proficient in making reports and dashboards using the standardized software

\xc2\xb7 Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to interact courteously and effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds both internal and external to the organization

\xc2\xb7 Excellent grammar skills and the ability to produce error-free correspondence and work products

\xc2\xb7 Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed

\xc2\xb7 Ability to anticipate and meet deadlines, establish work assignment priorities, and perform duties without immediate, constant supervision

\xc2\xb7 Ability to serve as a positive contributing member of the departmental team and to represent the department favorably in all interactions

\xc2\xb7 Ability to research, prepare and submit project proposals and/or grants applications

\xc2\xb7 Ability to multitask in high stress environments

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently, manage projects, and meet deadlines

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work cooperatively as a team member

\xc2\xb7 Ability to organize, coordinate and implement

\xc2\xb7 Ability to learn new applications

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of and the ability to use various standardized office equipment
Required Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited institution in business administration, risk management or a related field
  • 3 years of directly related professional work experience in risk management, compliance, or business administration
  • Experience with data management and visualization
  • Must have a valid and unrestricted (not including corrective lens needs) U.S. Driver\'s license and must meet the Tulane University Motor Vehicle policy criteria to become authorized as a driver
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master\'s degree from an accredited institution in risk management, business administration or related field
  • 5 years\' work experience in risk management
  • Three years\' work experience in a university setting
  • Experience in conducting training programs
