Job Overview:

DC Team Associate III - WIlliston Days 1 Shift

As the DC III and DC Subject Mater Expert you will support the tasks and transactions required to move Raw Materials and Finished goods in and out of the site safely, accurately and on time. You will need to partner for success with the multiple KDP business groups in a fast paced and constantly evolving work environment. DC Team Associate Level III\xe2\x80\x99s are required to cover for logistics Coordinator and Shift Coordinator work tasks as needed. DC III are required to work at and support both Williston and Essex sites as needed.

This role reports to a VT Logistics/Warehouse Supervisor.

Shift and Schedule:

This is a full-time position working one of the following Schedules.

  • D1 6AM to 6:15PM (Monday to Wednesday and Every Other Thursday).
Working overtime and holiday and all VT locations is required as needed.

Responsibilities:

Safety
  • Observes all facility safety rules & procedures
  • Completes safety training in Alchemy on time every month
  • Complies with injury/ incident reporting requirements
  • Exhibits safe behaviors
  • Understands Safety KPIs and programs
  • Identifies at risk behavior and provide constructive feedback
  • Generates safety ideas, assists with safety corrective actions
  • Participates and completes Safety RRNs
  • Effectively trains peers on RRN process

What you will do:
  • Trained, Capable and willing to Execute all DC I and DC II job Tasks as needed(signed off on all tasks in training matrix)
  • Certified to Operate all PIT equipment within the DC\xe2\x80\x99s scope of work.
  • Communicate & Escalate Safety, Quality open items and Incomplete issues
  • Schedule Pickup and delivery Appointments as needed (Daily Orders File)
  • Complete SAP and Ryder transactions to support shipping receiving process (SME).
  • Able to execute all VT Customer specific shipping related requirements.
  • Validate Inventory for Shipments as needed
  • Complete Audits of paperwork and Shipping / Receiving Standard Work
  • Document safety and quality issues
  • Delegate tasks, responsibilities, and work assignments if Shift Coordinator in not available.
  • Perform Cycle Counts and Inventory audits
  • Support and Train DC II\xe2\x80\x99s and DC I\xe2\x80\x99s
  • Shipping and Receiving Subject Mater Expert (SME)
Other Necessary Functions
  • Responsibility to report food safety, quality and regulatory compliance deviation to DC management.
  • Follow all Keurig Dr. Pepper policies and procedures.
  • Participate in daily huddles for input, feedback on trends, training issues, practices that need to be improved
  • Daily interaction with Employees/Management in Essex / Williston
  • Performs other duties as requested by management
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED or actively working toward one.
  • 6+ Months of DC II Experience is preferred.
  • Strong math and computer skills (Microsoft suite).
  • Knowledge of Warehouse and Shipping principles
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to multi task and manage stress
  • Fosters positive relationships and culture.
  • Ability to follow and give direction.
  • Ability to follow Keurig Dr. Pepper policies and procedures
  • Ability to walk and stand on concrete floors for 12.5 hour per day
  • Now how operate PIT (Forklift) equipment.
  • Previous work with continuous process improvement preferred (value stream analysis, 5S)
  • Strong attention to detail and good trouble shooting/follow up skills
  • Positive attitude/self\xe2\x80\x93motivated
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Prior Inventory Control and /or shipping experience is preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently with mechanical assistance.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to constantly lift, bend, stretch and stand during entire shift.
  • Ability to push/pull up to 1,500 pounds using supplied equipment.
  • Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, and stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions.
Total Rewards:
  • Pay starting at $24 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate in the quarter after their 6 month anniversary.
  • $3500 sign-on bonus.
