Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Assistant to join our team at The Stork's Nest Child Academy in the US. In this role, you will support our educators in creating a positive and engaging environment for young children, contributing to their growth and well-being.

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities and lesson plans tailored to early childhood development. Support children's emotional, social, and physical needs through attentive caregiving. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment following health and safety standards. Observe and document children's progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff. Foster positive interactions among children to promote social skills. Help organize educational materials and classroom activities. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day and progress. Support inclusive practices for children with special needs or disabilities.

Qualifications

Prior experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting. Knowledge of early childhood development principles. First aid certification or willingness to obtain one. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to create a nurturing and safe environment. Experience supporting children with special needs is preferred. Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children. Familiarity with classroom management techniques.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
