Position Overview:

Collins Aerospace is looking for a Data & Analytics intern to support our Commercial Aviation Interior Products division. As an intern you will get the opportunity to work on real-world problems and develop analytical solutions that will be used by our customers worldwide. Daily responsibilities will include building and querying large datasets, manipulating dataset to uncover trends, and building visualizations to convey stories to management and external customers from around the world. In doing so you will have the opportunity to gain experience supporting multiple disciplines at once including Digital Technology, Data Science, and Warranty/Product Support.

This opportunity is for a full-time, paid internships, typically ranging from 10-12 weeks. Throughout your internship, we will provide continuous training and performance feedback to ensure you develop the necessary skills to succeed. Primary Responsibilities:

Experience leading an analytical project from problem identification through deployment.

Experience using data and visualization to build a data story to be presented to management to facilitate informed business decisions.

Basic knowledge of the commercial aviation industry

Increase in technical skills such as SQL, Tableau, and Python

Basic Qualifications

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor\'s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Must be a US person

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to work in a highly team-oriented environment where collaboration is

essential.

Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent analytical skills are required

Fundamental understanding of data visualization techniques required.

Knowledge of applied statistical analysis, modeling techniques, and data visualization methods

Ability to demonstrate your development of algorithms and predictive models to solve a problem

Proficiency in programming languages SQL, R, Python, and/or SAS
