The Barre Unified Union School District is seeking Daily Substitutes for Barre City Elementary and Middle School, Barre Town Middle and Elementary School, and Spaulding High School. We are looking for individuals that are available on an on-call basis to cover teacher, paraeducator, and clerical absences. Our substitutes must be energetic, adaptable, friendly, professional, and want to be a part of and support a positive learning environment. Substitute Teachers/Paraprofessionals will:
- Implement effective classroom management skills
- Follow Teacher\'s written lesson plans
- Prepare a written summary of work completed after each assignment
- Follow all policies, rules and procedures to which regular Teachers are subject
- Comply with all building and safety procedures and schedules
- Greet & assist staff, students, employees and general public at front desk
- Follow the guidelines of specific assignments as directed by supervisor
- On call
