Milton Town School District is looking for a full-time substitute teacher. This position will be for the 2023-2024 school year only. We are looking to assign a substitute to help cover our 5-8 grade levels\' daily absences.This position is hourly, and the rate will be based on experience. The position is eligible for health, dental, and life benefits.
No paid Leave.Requirements: The position requires a great deal of flexibility. Our teacher substitute may fill in for an extended absence and be in the same class for 3 -14 days. In this case, it will be expected to maintain the learning environment and implement the teacher\'s lesson plans. Otherwise, assignments may vary from day to day.
To the greatest extent possible, we will avoid assigning the substitute to more than one classroom per day; however, there may be days when a substitute must cover multiple classrooms. These assignment changes can happen at a moment\'s notice and are responsive to the school day\'s changing dynamics.
