Position Overview:

The Customer Service Manager is responsible for ensuring that customers receive exceptional service while the business\xe2\x80\x99s sales goals are supported. The Manager works directly with clients as well as oversees a team of customer service representatives. Responsibilities:

Typical duties and responsibilities for a Customer Service Manager would include:

  • Recruit and hire qualified customer service representatives that support customer and plant goals.
  • Train new customer service team members, as well as develop continuous improvement training plans for all team members.
  • Lead and ensure quality for all new item data and new items set up in KIWI and supporting systems.
  • Perform the necessary changes to the plant operating system to maintain file integrity.
  • Support the sales team through direct customer engagement.
  • Align all internal resources to support customer needs.
  • Implement price increases/decreases for the plant.
  • Improve customer service quality by resolving problems and providing technical advice.
  • Support cost estimating for the sales team.
  • Perform order tracking for correct shipping dates.
  • Daily stock release processing.
  • Develop advanced telephone communication skills among team members.
  • Assist accounting with billing issues and manage Customer Issues process.
  • Maintain filing system for designated customers, as per SOP in place.
  • Assist customers with optimizing inventory levels.
  • Other duties as requested
Customer Service Manager will report directly to the Sales manager. Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years in a leadership role with direct subordinates.
  • Must be able to communicate with external customers, internal customers, sales representatives, and production daily.
  • Strong computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in or ability to learn corrugated mainframe systems.
  • Able to lead and effectively communicate with team members.
