About Us



All Valley Fireplace is Idaho's leading provider of fireplace sales, installation, and service--serving Ada, Canyon, Valley, and surrounding counties. We take pride in craftsmanship, customer experience, and doing things right the first time. Our service department handles everything from annual maintenance and warranty repairs to fan replacements and gas conversions.

We're growing fast and are looking for a Service Dispatcher to join our team and help keep our operation running smoothly.

Position Overview



As a Service Dispatcher, you'll be the communication hub between our customers, technicians, and management team. You'll coordinate daily schedules, assist with intake and follow-up, and ensure every service appointment is handled efficiently, accurately, and with exceptional customer care.

This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities



Serve as the primary point of contact for service customers--answer calls, emails, and online inquiries. Schedule and dispatch technicians based on skill level, location, and workload. Confirm appointments and communicate updates or changes with customers. Input and maintain accurate job details, notes, and updates in Service Fusion (our software) Review technician notes and verify completion details before closing jobs. Monitor warranty and return visits; ensure issues are documented and resolved efficiently. Collaborate daily with the Service Manager and Installation Department to optimize scheduling and productivity. Assist with collecting balances, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records. Support the team in achieving departmental goals for revenue, customer satisfaction, and first-time-fix rate.

Qualifications



Minimum 2 years of dispatch, scheduling, or customer service experience (HVAC, plumbing, or service industry preferred). Excellent communication and multitasking skills. Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office, CRM, scheduling or field service software experience preferred). Professional, polite, and reliable. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple moving parts. Team-oriented mindset with a customer-first attitude.

Compensation & Benefits



Hourly Rate:

$20+/hour (DOE)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
