Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian Maintenance to join our facilities team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our commercial or industrial facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to janitorial and custodial tasks, ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment for staff and visitors alike. Prior experience in cleaning, floor care, or facilities maintenance is highly valued to support the smooth operation of our premises.

Duties

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces across various areas of the facility. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance. Handle janitorial responsibilities including trash removal, restocking supplies, and maintaining restrooms. Assist with residential painting projects or minor repairs as needed to support facility upkeep. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks that may involve specialized equipment or techniques for large-scale or heavy-duty cleaning. Perform facilities maintenance tasks such as light repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure operational safety and efficiency. Maintain safety standards by adhering to proper cleaning procedures and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of cleaning schedules and special projects. Heavy equipment operations/snow removal experience advantageous Regular maintenance knowledge is recommended

Qualifications

Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred; experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing. Experience with residential painting or general facilities maintenance is advantageous. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures. Pay: From $20.00 per hour
