Position Overview
The Culinary Team Member plays a vital role in the success of Brix Bistro's kitchen operations. This position involves supporting daily prep, station execution, plating, and maintaining the high standards of consistency, cleanliness, and flavor that define our brand. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, collaborative, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented fine dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
Execute dishes according to chef's specifications and plating standards.
Prepare and portion ingredients for service, ensuring freshness and quality.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist in menu prep, special events, and seasonal menu changes.
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth service and timely execution.
Receive and properly store deliveries and inventory.
Uphold the restaurant's values of integrity, craftsmanship, and teamwork.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of professional kitchen experience preferred (fine dining experience a plus).
Strong knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques.
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Passion for culinary arts, local ingredients, and continuous learning.
