Job Description


  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Equivalent Experience.
  • Experience in collections recovery strategies for financial services, banks, or fintech companies.
  • Experience pursuing repayment on delinquent accounts.
  • Robust analytical and excel skills, including the ability to be hands-on and dive deep into details, identifying root cause and propose solutions.
  • Able to build positive business relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to articulate complex problems and cater your language to different audience in both verbal and written communication.
  • Results-oriented: Proven track record of on-time project delivery for large, cross-functional initiatives.

Amazon Business Payments and Lending team is looking for a Credit Collections Manager to drive Loss Mitigation strategy for the US based business. The candidate will be responsible for developing effective recovery strategies, and manage high balances debt workout cases. The ideal candidate should be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team oriented and possess strong risk management and loss recovery skills. The successful candidate will have a strong desire to innovate processes and exceed expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, driving innovation on behalf of sellers and small business customers.

Key job responsibilities
  • Evaluate emerging portfolio risk trends, build new monitoring health metrics.
  • Develop loss mitigation & recovery strategies across different customer segments.
  • Work directly with customers on resolving high balance delinquency cases, negotiate settlements, and process debt restructured plans.
  • Contribute to the success of the loss mitigation team by driving operational excellence.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders and partner with cross-organizational teams on high priority initiatives.


  • Experience with corporate/commercial credit underwriting
  • Hands-on experience of working with data tools/languages such as SQL
  • MBA and/or Equivalent designation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
