Overview:

$19.00 / hour

Minimum Age Requirement: 18

Manage the day-to-day operation of the Entertainment costuming and makeup shop.

• Supervise and schedule the costuming and makeup teams to meet the needs of the business.
• Prepare costumes for various styles of productions and maintain costume appearance and continuity.
• Fit and alter costumes as needed, utilizing sewing machine and basic sewing abilities as appropriate.
• Maintain the inventory of shop supplies, communicating needs to management.
• Create and execute laundry schedules for each show cast.
• Maintain integrity and upkeep of borrowed and rented costume inventory.
• Collaborate with Entertainment Management during design opportunities.
• Demonstrate initiative and ownership of assigned tasks and areas.
• Maintain show and event integrity.

Qualifications:

• Education or experience in the technical field of theatre, film, or other venues required.
• Prior leadership experience preferred.
• Good judgement and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Individuals with a passion and excitement about Valleyfair.
• Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays.
