is excited to add an experienced Field Service Controls Engineer to our team. In this role, you\'ll work onsite at our Moorestown, New Jersey manufacturing facility, and at a wide variety of customer locations. You\'ll have the opportunity to provide a high level of customer satisfaction while detecting and resolving any issues related to mechanical, electrical, and controls components of advanced labeling and serialization systems.

Do you enjoy this work?

  • Execute hands-on programming, starting-up and troubleshooting of controls system upgrades for industrial automation equipment
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to develop and improve control system designs and applications
  • Perform controls and electrical systems upgrades of existing equipment in the field
  • Complete basic wire routing from source to point of use, including 120 V, 480 V, control & network communication wiring and sensors
  • Generate formal documentation of program code modifications for use in customer\xe2\x80\x99s change control system
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
  • Provide training and support to customers on the operation and maintenance of control systems and equipment
  • Maintain records of service calls, training, and expenses
  • Study technical manuals and attend training sessions provided by equipment manufacturers to maintain current knowledge
  • Support manufacturing when required and help perform and conclude both Pre-FAT and FAT for assigned projects
  • International and domestic travel required (Approximately 30%)

  • B.S. Electrical Engineering or related field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics) preferred
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working with automation or packaging equipment
  • B&R Automation Studio or similar platform using structured text (e.g., C++, C#, Basic)
  • Allen Bradley PLC programming
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of control systems and equipment
  • Understanding of communication protocols
  • Prior experience reading electrical prints and schematics
  • Able to understand and troubleshoot electrical systems relating to high-speed complex labeling systems
  • Pharmaceutical and/or Food cGMP experience a plus
