This is a remote position. Administers Government Contracts, including supporting subcontracts, from execution to closure. Responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and negotiating contract terms and provisions as an authorized agent of the Company. Must have had signing authority in previous positions. Reports to the Director of Contracts & Procurement. Position requires 5 \xe2\x80\x93 7 years of contracts management experience and a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Finance, English or other related discipline. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Under limited supervision,
Negotiates and administers standard terms and conditions, agreements between the company/customers/subcontractors/vendors ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, government specifications and requirements
Responsible for reviewing contract solicitation terms, handling contract award confirmations, interpreting agreement terms and conditions and identifying potential issues, reviewing agreement amendments / modifications, and incorporating changes
Identifies risks and areas of concern on contract terms and conditions and provides contractual advice, guidance and support to the contract lead / program and operations managers
Responds to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions
Assist with proposal preparation for customer requirements
Drafts, issues, and negotiates contractual documents
o Purchase Orders o Subcontract Agreements o Consulting Agreements o Non-Disclosure Agreements
Ensures contract and subcontract files are documented and in compliance with company policies and procedures and government regulations
Assist with policy and procedure development
Job Requirements: Education & Experience
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree, will substitute education experience (11-15 years)
7-9 years of experience, with at least 4 years of experience in Subcontracts Management
Must have had signing authority in previous positions
Must have experience with Government contracts and procurement administration/management
Must have executed and managed contracts and/or subcontracts
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be willing to video teleconference when required
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers at all levels ensuring customer mission requirements and project milestones are met
Must have excellent organization, administration, and coordination skills
Must have Intermediate to advanced mastery of MS Office and Adobe Acrobat DC products
Experience in monitoring contracts/subcontracts of increasing complexity and value
Knowledge of Representations and Certifications and strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
Experience with the entire life-cycle management of a government contracts a plus
Experience with GSA MAS is desired by not required
Experience interfacing with DCAA a plus but not required
Strong understanding of contract/Purchase Order terms and conditions and detailed knowledge of the government contracting process
Comprehensive knowledge of the terms and conditions appropriate for different contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, T&M, IDIQ, etc.) and their proper use
Detailed knowledge of government contract administration duties including subcontract flow downs, change management, inspection, acceptance, payment, warranty, close-out and records retention
Certifications Security Clearance Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)
