Hanover Research is seeking a Content Marketing Writer to write, curate, and measure content marketing and thought-leadership assets that demonstrate the company\xe2\x80\x99s expertise and educate readers on meaningful K\xe2\x80\x9312 and higher education topics. Under the supervision of the Senior Content Marketing Manager, this position partners closely with a cross-functional team from marketing, sales, research, and account management to foster inbound traffic, engagement, and leads. Responsibilities:

  • Develop, draft, update, and finalize a range of education-focused content marketing pieces that generate awareness, consideration, and purchase, including:
    • Blog posts
    • Case studies
    • Downloadable guides, toolkits, eBooks, and infographics
    • Email and web copy
  • Project manage content marketing tasks and timelines
  • Track, measure, and share content marketing performance data, using tools such as Google Analytics and HubSpot
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of Hanover\xe2\x80\x99s annual content marketing calendar
  • Assist with the creation of other collateral or presentation materials as needed
Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A proven ability to generate compelling content for a deeply informed audience, translating complex concepts into concise deliverables that move people to act
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with significant attention to detail
  • Robust project management skills with an ability to multi-task and meet firm delivery deadlines
  • An enthusiasm for tracking, analyzing, and communicating metrics tied to marketing performance
  • Familiarity with best practices for blogging, online publishing, inbound marketing, basic SEO, email marketing, or social media
  • Experience as a content contributor in a collaborative team setting, working with diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • A positive attitude, the ability to embrace feedback, and a continuous-improvement mindset

It\xe2\x80\x99s even better if you have experience with any of the following
  • Writing about or working in the K\xe2\x80\x9312 or higher education sectors
  • Proofreading and following writing style guidelines
  • Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Google Analytics
  • Project management software such as Monday
  • Content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress
  • Marketing automation software such as HubSpot
  • SEO tools such as SEMrush

Minimum Education Required
A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree from an accredited institution in marketing, PR, communications, journalism, English, creative writing, technical writing, or related fields.


Minimum Experience

2 years of experience in a content creation role, preferably in an education or research organization.

Compensation
Hanover Research strives to create compensation and benefits programs that are competitive, equitable and fair. The compensation range for this role at the company is $60,000 - $70,000. Please note that the base salary offered is contingent on the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Our base pay range is determined by the role and the market.
