By providing educators, students, and career changers with free software licenses, teaching tools, learning resources, and in-demand Alteryx Analytics certifications, we are helping to close the ever-growing data analytics skills gap.

Alteryx has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Senior Content Marketing Manager (SparkED Education Program) who will be responsible for defining our thought leadership and content strategy to raise the profile and drive awareness and adoption of the SparkED education program. Through your understanding of the education market from higher ed to reskilling/upskilling, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for developing the messaging, awareness, thought leadership and content programs to scale SparkED globally.

The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about using the power of words to inspire, educate, and challenge our core audiences. You\xe2\x80\x99ll collaborate with teams across marketing and sales to drive awareness and adoption for the SparkED program and Alteryx products. Ultimately, the person in this role is a strong strategist, writer, and editor for demand generation-focused content including e-books, white papers, infographics, interactive content, blog posts and articles, web, and conversion-focused emails, landing pages, paid and organic digital, and more. And because you will be working at an analytics company, you bring a data-driven mindset to everything you do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop targeted and meaningful content, positioning and messaging that articulate the benefits of SparkED to educators, students, and career changers, and as a differentiator for Alteryx.

  • Communicate the value proposition of SparkED for sales enablement and develop the sales tools that effectively position SparkED within the commercial selling process.

  • Own strategy, planning, project management, creation/procurement, publishing, internal distribution, and analysis of compelling content for our target personas.

  • Partner with SparkED Integrated Marketing Manager to create assets and offers for campaigns and web pages that create awareness, fuel demand, and nurture prospects down the buyer\xe2\x80\x99s journey

  • Work with central marketing communications and brand teams to increase awareness for SparkED with key personas and influencers, and position Alteryx as a thought leader in the democratization of analytics skills.

  • Participate in the launch of new Alteryx products, releases, as well as new learning content, and manage the cross-functional marketing needs for promotion to the education market.

  • Support key company initiatives such as our annual Inspire customer conferences with compelling branded content and support of content development for our Chief Advocacy Officer and Global VP of SparkED

  • Conduct regular competitive content reviews and infuse content with best-in-class practices

  • Establish a regular cadence for analyzing the performance of assets across conversations, channels, asset type, and contribution to marketing and pipeline, and incorporate analytic findings into content strategy, production, and distribution processes


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of overall marketing experience, preferably in the tech space and/or the education market.

  • Possess over-the-top written and verbal communication skills, a data-driven marketer\xe2\x80\x99s mindset with a minimum of 3 solid years of experience in copy/content writing.

  • Ideal candidate will have previous experience as a strategist, writer, editor creating demand generation-focused content (e-books, emails, landing pages, paid & organic digital, etc.).

  • Ability to develop strategies for creating awareness and pipeline through content and follow through with flawless execution.

  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills, plus strategic thinking and business acumen.

  • Excellent people skills to interact with senior leaders, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and customers/partners.

  • Detail-oriented, well organized, efficient with time management skills.

  • Staller communications skills and comfortable presenting at all levels within the organization.

  • Results oriented, proactive, and analytical skills.


Pay Transparency
Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.

The salary range for this role in Colorado, Southern California and Rhode Island is $118,700-$201,800.
The salary range for this role in New York City and Northern California is $129,500-$220,200.

In addition, you may be eligible for additional compensation, such as a bonus and stock grants. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, including medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
