Position Summary
Sturzenbecker Construction / Bridger Summit is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Office Coordinator to support our growing construction operations. This role will play a key part in the subcontractor bid solicitation process for upcoming General Contractor (GC) pursuits, while also providing general administrative and front-office support.
The ideal candidate is comfortable on the phone, organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction office environment.
Key Responsibilities - Subcontractor Bid Solicitation
- Proactively contact subcontractors to solicit bids for upcoming construction projects.
- Use provided pre-qualified subcontractor lists organized by trade.
- Communicate project scope summaries and bid requirements clearly and professionally.
- Track bid invitations, responses, follow-ups, and deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal project and estimating teams to ensure complete bid coverage.
- Maintain organized records of subcontractor communications and bid statuses.
Key Responsibilities - Office & Administrative Support
- Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Serve as a point of contact for vendors, subcontractors, and visitors.
- Assist with general office administration, including document organization, data entry, and scheduling.
- Support project teams with clerical and coordination tasks as needed.
- Help maintain orderly digital and physical filing systems.
Required Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication skills; comfortable making frequent outbound phone calls.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Professional demeanor and customer-service mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a construction, engineering, or contracting office.
- Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn construction management platforms such as Procore.
- Experience working with subcontractors or vendors.
- Basic understanding of construction trades and terminology (or willingness to learn).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.31 - $28.07 per hour
