Silver Shield Inc. now hiring!! We are in need of parking lot concierges ready to start overnight in Commerce, CA at a local facility. Pay does start at $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. This is a permanent part-time position. Shifts: Saturday 3:00am to 3:00pm and Sunday 3:00am to 3:00pm (24 hrs.) Saturday 3:00pm to 3:00am and Sunday 3:00pm to 3:00am (24 hrs.) Job Duties:

• Greeting, checking in, and directing visitors.
• Enforcing access control and assuring that only authorized personnel enter the building.
• Monitoring operational procedures.
• Maintaining constant surveillance of assigned areas.
• Protecting the property from theft, accidents, fire, and other threats.

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Working cell phone.
• Able to work weekends overnight.
• Must have weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Protect the company\xe2\x80\x99s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators.
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter.
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.

Skills

• Proven work experience as concierges or a relevant position
• Trained security officer with diploma/Will assist in detaining one if not
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism
• High school degree
