The Opportunity

Delaware North Global Headquarters is hiring a Compliance Manager to join our Corporate Compliance team in Buffalo, New York. As a Compliance Manager, you will work to develop, maintain, and communicate comprehensive policies, procedures and oversight practices while providing strategic risk management communications and administering training programs. The Compliance Manager will partner with internal stakeholders to strengthen Delaware North s commitment to food and alcohol safety, with a focus on measuring performance and risk through metrics and reporting, root cause analysis, training, and developing creative solutions to support challenges within subsidiaries and units. Our ideal candidate will have experience developing and/or performing compliance and/or operational risk oversight activities in a large matrixed company (e.g., hospitality, finance, healthcare).

Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Salary: $79800 - $107700 / year

Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor a food and alcohol safety training program that includes procedures and processes for auditing training compliance at each unit and correcting non-compliance along with communication and education strategies.

Monitor the completion of independent compliance assessments across company locations through reporting and metrics.

Monitor compliance with procedures regarding government inspections.

Analyze and measure assessment results to identify risk themes, compliance issues, and trends, and propose creative solutions to address subsidiary and unit-level challenges.

Protect and advance business interests by coordinating the development, analysis and measurement of key risk and compliance indicators.

Guide leaders across the organization and ensure that the policies are comprehensive and effectively communicated and implemented.

Influence and implement communication and education strategies.

Develop additional procedures, processes and communication strategies where needed. Qualifications

Bachelor s degree required.

Minimum of 5-7 years in a large corporate environment demonstrating experience in and ability to drive compliance and risk management initiatives across a complex enterprise and broad geography.

A proven record coordinating the efforts of multiple stakeholders to achieve an agreed upon outcome.

Strong written and presentation skills.

High attention to detail and must possess a high level of integrity.

A strong commitment and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment is paramount.

Ability to analyze a broad range of issues utilizing varied analytical techniques and strategic thinking to determine how best to ensure compliance and risk management.

Although not required, familiarity with food and alcohol safety laws and regulations, industry best practices and related operational risks and controls is a plus. Who We Are
