This position will challenge you to develop and apply skills to help ensure a safer and healthier community. The purpose of this position is to engage internal and external public health stakeholders and staff in communication activities to advance the department\xe2\x80\x99s community visibility. This includes creating, executing, and evaluating the department\xe2\x80\x99s communication plans, as well as implementing community engagement strategies, preparing and disseminating health communication materials in variety of formats and methods, coordinating of digital platforms, and planning and implementing marketing and branding activities. POSITION OVERVIEW: The purpose of this position is to serve as the Community Health Planner/Communications Specialist for Lincoln County to engage internal and external public health stakeholders and staff in communication activities to advance the department\xe2\x80\x99s community visibility. This includes creating, executing, and evaluation of the department\xe2\x80\x99s communication plans, as well as preparing and disseminating health communication materials in variety of formats and methods, implementing community engagement strategies, coordinating of digital platforms, and planning and implementing marketing and branding activities. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in community health, public health, communications, marketing, public relations, or communication related field. One to two years of experience in health communications preferred. Wage: Starting wage of $24.37- $25.75 based on experience.
