Summary:

The programming department is responsible for creating accurate and safe programs which run the machine tools and in turn, create detail parts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for model-based definition data download to Onamac file system.

Responsible for decryption of customer data and filing.

Create part and assembly drawings from Catia datasets.

Assist quality control with datasets and dataset translations.

Stand in as programming resource in overtime situations.

Support the shop during an unanticipated sequence of events.

Qualifications:

5-Axis Programming of inconel and other hard metals with MasterCam is required.

3-5 years' experience in machining and/or 3-5 years' experience in programming.

Thorough understanding of machine tools.

Experienced with cad/cam and CNC machines.

Able to combine people and process for improved throughput.

Physical Requirements:

Able to withstand long periods of stress.

Prolonged sitting and working on a computer.

Ability to aid in prove-out of programs at work center.

Work Environment:

Work may be performed in an office environment or the manufacturing area of the facility which may require use of safety glasses and hearing protection.

Exposure to heat, cold, dust, dirt, noise, odors, fumes, vapor from coolant, etc. may also be encountered when in the manufacturing areas to varying degrees.

ITAR Secure facility US Citizenship required.
