Job Description

We're seeking an experienced

CNC Programmer

with strong

Siemens NX

and

5-axis machining

experience to support advanced aerospace and defense production. You'll be working directly with our team programming complex parts for our

DVF4000 5-axis mill

and similar multi-axis equipment.

This is a hands-on contract role ideal for a skilled programmer who understands the realities of the shop floor and can translate digital precision into real-world results.

Responsibilities

Create, verify, and optimize

5-axis Siemens NX toolpaths

for tight-tolerance aerospace/defense components Post and validate programs for

Fanuc-based 5-axis machines (DVF-series)

Generate setup documentation, tool lists, and inspection notes Collaborate with machinists and operators to prove out and refine toolpaths Maintain accuracy, repeatability, and efficiency across all operations

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship required

(due to ITAR regulations) Must consent to a background check for this position.

5+ years

CNC programming experience (true 5-axis) Proficient in

Siemens NX CAM (5-Axis)

Solid understanding of

G-code / Fanuc controls

Skilled in reading blueprints, 3D models, and GD&T Aerospace, defense, or medical machining background preferred Familiarity with CloudNC, Siemens software stack. Extensive knowledge of materials and tooling, speeds and feeds.

Contract Details

Location: Chandler, AZ (on-site preferred, hybrid possible) Contract Type: 1099 / Hourly Typical Pay Range:

$45-$60/hr DOE

Schedule: Flexible, project-based work
