Title: Clinical Operations Administrator

Location: Upper East Side

Work Days: Monday-Friday

Exemption Status: Exempt

Salary Range: $115,920.00 - $157,920.00

*As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices

Position Summary

Provides direct oversight of clinical practice management and facility operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Administratively directs clinical operations, IT support and standardized functions of the clinical practice and financial, quality and service components. Monitors management reports to develop and implement plans that improve clinical performance.
  • Assists with the development of routine management reports that monitor key department performance indicators.
  • Directs the daily operations and strategic mission of the outpatient clinical practice(s) and establishes SOP\'s for a comprehensive & systematic approach for the delivery of quality patient care compliant with requirements mandated by regulatory agencies.
  • Identifies & recommends clinical operational enhancements and efficiencies to reduce cost, increase stability in operating systems and increase quality through standardization. Develops business plans for implementation of enhancements or initiatives.
  • Oversees the development and planning of clinical outreach initiatives, advertising and communications.
  • Responsible for the facilities management including space utilization, renovations and capital projects for all clinical and administrative sites. Participates in negotiations with planners, designers and vendors, and monitors budgets.
  • Supports the development of relevant ongoing education tools to ensure staff is kept current in their related areas of responsibility and service levels are always maintained.
  • Works with Department Administrator and Chair to assess new or expanded service-line offerings and new venture potential.
Education
  • Bachelor\'s Degree
Experience

Approximately 7 years of previous academic clinical practice and or hospital management experience

Strong operations background with an emphasis on clinical operations and administration functions.

Successful track record of managing diverse business units and building, as well as retaining, highly effective operational teams. Highly evolved management and staff administration and motivation skills

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy

Proven ability to develop balanced business arrangements and negotiate comprehensive business transactions

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Successful track record of managing diverse business units and building, as well as retaining, highly effective operational teams.

Extensive knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to Medicare, Medicaid, NYS Department of Health and Joint Commission and the National Patient Safety Goals (NPSG) is highly desired.
