Clinical Director-First Call of Chittenden County In conjunction with the Assistant Director of Crisis and leadership, the Clinical Director has program-wide responsibilities for First Call for Chittenden Counties (24/7 crisis program). Responsibilities include: developing core clinical competencies of staff; training and staff development aligning best practice and client care; and supporting program operations or policy development to support the needs of clients, staff, and programs in our system of care. Responsibilities:
Clinical competencies, best practice development and staff training
Provides program and clinical supervision, including supervision toward licensure
Provides leadership, intern, and staff development
Provides community-based trainings and maintains partnership liaison relations
Attends agency and community forums and committees
Is familiar with and assists with program operational functions, including hiring, contract or compliance, outcomes, budget, policy, or program initiatives
Participates in after-hours on-call and supervisory coverage
Requirements:
Master\'s degree or higher, with Vermont clinical licensure in good standing and ability to supervise others toward licensure
QMHP required within 6 months of hire
Driver\'s license and use of a personal vehicle
5 years combination of mental health and/or substance use services field, to include both direct service and supervisory experience
A strong understanding of Vermont\'s mental health system of care and determining appropriate level of care
