Under supervision of the classroom teacher, the classroom aide will assist the teacher in the instructional process, reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in a classroom environment and assist in monitoring students while on campus.
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of college training related to children, or graduation from high school or comparable demonstration of basic competence and one year experience work with children.
Demonstrate competence in communicating effectively with children and parents, and staff members.
A passing score on the Instructional Aide Proficiency Test.
Demonstrate competence in communicating effectively with children and parents, and staff members.
Maintain valid CPR and First Aid certification is desired .
Fingerprint clearance and current screening for Tuberculosis required.
