From day one, you\'ll start at $20.50 per hour and are eligible for a benefits package that include coverage for your whole family, dental & vision insurance, and a 401(k) with company match.
Remote Work: This position is remote, where you will work from home, and may require you to occasionally commute to one our offices for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. Hours of operation 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday with a set schedule that includes a rotating Saturday shift with a day off during the week Role Summary/Purpose: Enters information received by claims processors accurately into the system Provides administrative support as needed. Essential Responsibilities:
  • Input claim line items accurately and efficiently using the Data Entry program
  • Enters or imports documents and policy information into the policy management system for processing
  • Transcribe professional letters for appeals and DOI complaints
  • Daily contact with all internal departments
  • Attends and participates in team meetings as needed
  • Provides administrative support as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • 50+ Words per minute typing speed
  • 1 year recent Veterinary Technician experience (dog and cat)

Desired Characteristics:
  • Veterinary Technician Licensure strongly preferred
  • Administrative experience within the medical or veterinary industry involving heavy data entry responsibilities.
  • Strong computer skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to write professional letters

. Grade/Level: 04 Eligibility Requirements:
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test and submit to a background investigation as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 1033(E) Of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act Of 1994
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months\xe2\x80\x99 time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months\xe2\x80\x99 time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don\xe2\x80\x99t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
