Under general supervision, the Chapter Coordinator plans and implements programming and activities for recruiting new members and retaining current membership. The Chapter Coordinator is also responsible for developing programming and services for the various segments of the membership, in collaboration with committees representing specific fields of practice. Additionally, the Chapter Coordinator assists and collaborates with the Professional Development Coordinator in planning and implementing continuing education programming and the Annual Statewide Conference.
II. BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform general administrative tasks such as managing correspondence, answering and directing phones, and handling inquiries.
Administrative support to the CEU process by accepting applications, reviewing for completeness, processing payments, preliminary review for approval, and providing clear, timely and accurate communication with the applicants
Supports the operational function of the chapter in tracking important dates, events, meetings and deadlines.
Coordinate logistics for events including venue arrangements, catering, and materials.
Assist in drafting communications, newsletters, and promotional materials.
Plans and implements programs for membership retention, with an emphasis on transitional category members and recognition of long-time members.
Plans and implements programs and services for specific segments of the membership.
Assists in planning and implementing continuing education workshops and conferences.
Assists regional board members on planning of regional meetings.
Assists in planning the Annual Statewide Conference in collaboration with the Conference Planning Committee.
All other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director
