Job Title: Chapter Relations Coordinator

Summary: This position coordinates the chapter program and the continued growth of the program. An ideal candidate is detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple , tasks, think on their feet and communicate effectively both internally and externally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinates the chapter program providing support and development for chapter leaders while on-boarding new chapters around the world for its continued growth.
Maintains and keeps up-to-date chapter information and chapter members in database.
Collaborates with Colonel Relations Team to encourage all chapter members to contribute to the Good Works Program.
Conducts data research on Colonels.
Coordinates Chapter Leader Meeting that will be held during the Colonels Homecoming Weekend, collaborating with the Colonel Events Coordinator for logistics.
Collaborates with Colonel Events Coordinator for Day of Service, working with out-of-state chapters to publicize their volunteer opportunities.
Coordinates any in- or out-of-state chapter collaborative events such as Meet & Greets.
Identify and negotiate contracts as needed with appropriate on-site and off-site venues and vendors regarding chapter events with final approval by the Senior Director of Colonel Relations.
Communicates with chapter leaders and potential chapters on a regular basis for HOKC Chapter updates, feedback, upcoming development opportunities, etc.
Develops annual budget for chapters with the coordination of the Senior Director of Colonel Relations.
Produce revenue and expenditure results within that board approved budget.
Works with communications to create social media posts related to the chapter program.
Assists in the development of short and long-range organizational plans.
Ability to work with limited supervision in a collaborative environment.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Assists team members with volunteer activities and other organizational activities, if needed.
Participants in Board committee meetings as needed.
Assists with opening mail, processing donations, or depositing donations as needed, and answers phones.
All other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: Degree in business, communication, or marketing field preferred but not required. Three (3) or more years of experience with effective communication and event planning. Experience in a professional service office environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent writing skills. Must be able to interact with various personalities and communication styles at all levels. Ability to speak effectively before groups.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral. Ability to deal with problems in an efficient way.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have extensive knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet programs, and CRM software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have a valid driver's license.

Work hours: Scheduled weekly hours are 10-20 hours per week over 3 to 5 days per week but expect to work longer hours on event/meeting days and some weekends.
Travel in and out of the state may be required based on events, 25% or less annually.
Hourly Rate Range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour, commensurate with education and experience.
