Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with expertise in various areas including small business accounting, corporate accounting, and non-profit accounting along with tax preparation expertise. This role requires a commitment to accuracy and compliance, as well as the ability to work well in teams and contribute to the overall financial health of our organization.

Duties

As a Certified Public Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and analyzing financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards Managing accounts payable and receivable processes, including balance sheet reconciliation Performing financial report writing and interpretation for stakeholders Utilizing accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft for efficient financial management Individual, Corporate, Partnership, and Trust tax preparation Engaging in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis to support corporate finance initiatives Mentoring junior accountants and providing guidance on technical accounting issues Conducting account analysis and maintaining accurate general ledger accounting records Collaborating on financial management projects related to private equity and financial services

Experience

The successful candidate will have:

A valid CPA license with proven experience in public accounting or corporate finance 2 years of tax preparation Proficiency in financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping, accrual accounting, debits & credits, and journal entries Strong analytical skills with experience in financial analysis, payroll processing, and auditing practices

Pay: $60,201.41 - $72,500.62 per year
