Job Description




At CoBank, our Cash Management Servicing Specialist IV provides knowledge, support and advanced servicing for online banking products. Drives customer retention through excellent customer support, ongoing assistance related to technical inquiries, and setup and maintenance of new and existing relationships. Serves as subject matter expert for the rest of the bank regarding all cash management products and related systems. Leverages opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling. Supports cash management products and services by interacting directly with customers and working with other customer-facing areas within CoBank, including Cash Management Consultants, Relationship Managers, Farm Credit Associations, Information Technology and Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs all cash management support activities within expected time frames, and according to documented policies and procedures.
  • Supports or leads non-processing tasks, initiatives and projects.
  • Independently trains and educates customers on cash management products, services and systems.
  • Prepares, processes and reviews customer documentation.
  • Completes accurate setup of users in cash management systems.
  • Requests approvals in a timely manner to ensure customer transactions are completed.
  • Reads and interprets credit agreements relating to cash management activity.
  • Assists customers with account reconciliation and billing inquiries.
  • Resolves complex problems and technical issues.
  • Conducts peer review of daily work.
  • Serves as a knowledge resource for internal/external department issues resolution.
  • Serves as \xe2\x80\x9cMission Critical Personnel\xe2\x80\x9d for business continuity and reduced staffing scenarios.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience, preferably in banking or financial services; or appropriate combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate\xe2\x80\x99s or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of cash management and other banking products.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and schedule work and projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to solve problems and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact with and appropriately engage internal and external customers and others at all levels in the organization.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel).
Special Requirements
  • Availability for occasional work outside normal business hours.
  • Availability for potential travel from time to time.
Compensation Information
  • Estimated Base Salary Range: $60,000-65,000
  • Target short-term incentive opportunity: 9%
