Duties
Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure quality standards are met.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste.
Operate Spot On POS systems.
Train and mentor kitchen staff on food safety protocols, proper food handling, and operational procedures.
Ensure timely service during peak hours in a quick service, casual dining setting.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
Assist in menu planning and food production.
Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold the restaurant's standards.
Collaborate with management to develop operational strategies that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Skills
Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within fast-paced restaurant environments.
Proven leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience in hospitality or food service settings
Excellent team management skills including staff training, and shift management.
Deep understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and inventory control procedures.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Experience in casual dining food service environments is highly desirable.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
Knowledge of budgeting, training & development programs, and food industry best practices.
