responsibilities:
- Procures materials via quotations and purchase orders from approved suppliers, ensuring accurate terms representation.
- Manages production load, scheduling, and on-time delivery planning.
- Maintains precision of purchase orders, quotes, and part data, overseeing lead times for commodities.
- Monitors production and supplier performance, promptly addressing disruptions.
- Resolves quality issues by mediating communication with suppliers.
- Negotiates settlements for claims, rejections, and changes.
- Provides parts info, compiles reports for decision-making.
- Manages records for material tracking and resource availability.
- Supports material transactions and inventory maintenance.
- Drives continuous improvement and cost-reduction strategies.
- Identifies new suppliers, participates in evaluations.
- Collaborates with technical teams for supplier assessment.
