Description:

Role: Responsible for sourcing leads, making cold calls to potential customers to generate sales and meet company sales goals; research prospective companies and key personnel, qualify leads and arrange appointments for business development; maintain databases to communicate customer information, activity and results.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads based on key account target criteria.
  • Research and contact prospects to create new relationships and develop new clients.
  • Log all contacts and monitor success rates; manage the contact database to ensure the information is accurate and kept up to date.
  • Produce regular reports on activity levels.
  • Contribute to team effort by working with internal departments to assist company initiatives and sales goals.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of company\'s products and services and relate products to prospects applications.
  • Attend professional meetings, seminars and trade shows to expand technical knowledge and generate networking opportunities.
  • Deliver prepared sales talks in order to persuade potential customers purchase; conduct sales presentations and product demos via phone, internet and in person.
  • Explain products, services and prices, and answer questions from customers.
  • Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals.
  • Email, telephone or write letters to respond to correspondence from customers or to follow up initial sales contacts.
  • Meet weekly and monthly activity requirements.
  • Create new clients by closing sales opportunities to contribute to sales growth.
Competencies
  • MUST have paint component sales experience
  • Strong background in Automotive Paint Equipment and Process Control sales.
  • Must be able to create and follow scripts and guidelines; convey information professionally and effectively; respond to opportunities and objections in a natural and persuasive manner.
  • Diligently promote Custom Valve Concepts Core Values.
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to respond to information by asking appropriate questions.
  • Customer-centric focus to understand needs and relate CVC abilities to address those needs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Internet Navigation, CRM and business software.
  • Excellent presentation, persuasion, telephone, closing and persistence skills.
  • Results driven with strong organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all employees, customers and prospects.
  • Strong Technical Aptitude with Problem Solving and Analytical Skills.
